Play games, do crafts, watch film clips and learn about God’s love in a fun, relaxed environment! Children from Reception to Year 6 are invited to come along and spend time with friends and leaders – a great way to start the weekend!

Chiltern is deemed a COVID-secure environment, so church services and activities run by the church can still run whilst the Local COVID alert level is set at High. However, if you are deemed extremely clinically vulnerable you are unfortunately not able to attend church services or any activities run in the church building whilst the Local COVID alert level is set at High. We are excited to be opening our weekly kids club again and can’t wait to welcome the children into the building once more.

In line with government health guidelines, the safe maximum number of children is 15. You will be able to sign your child up in advance by booking online on our events page. Children will have their own ‘zone’ in our main hall, with a wipeable mat and cushion, and individual game/craft equipment. Please book a separate ticket for each child, even if they are siblings.

 

Friday Kids Club will run from 4:30 – 5:30pm and will include socially distanced games, show and tell time, crafts and quizzes, and watching a film clip followed by a short encouraging talk.

This half-term we will be watching 'A Bug's Life' and learning lessons about teamwork, communication and courage along the way!

 

At the end, children can choose from a selection of individually wrapped sweets to take home (do let us know if you would like a healthier option and we can make that happen).  We will also be keeping up to date with changing regulations, and will adapt our club sessions as we are allowed to in the future to include more movement!

 

We ask for £1 per session to cover our costs, which includes tuck. To minimise transmission, we are asking for payment to be via contactless card or exact change.
