Receive | Go | Bless What does it look like to play our part in God’s much bigger story? In this message from our 'Crossings: A Bridge to His Promises' series, we explore how God invites people to step into His extraordinary purposes. Drawing on Genesis 12, Acts 9, and Isaiah 32, we see how the stories of Abraham, Ananias, and Saul collide to reveal a simple but life-shaping rhythm: Receive | Go | Bless Sometimes we are like Saul, in need of healing, renewal, strength, and fresh vision. At other times, we are like Ananias, called to trust God, to go, and to become a channel of His life and blessing to others. As we close our Advent series, we shift our attention from the first Advent (Jesus’ coming in humility) to the second Advent (Jesus’ coming again in glory). Christmas reminds us that Jesus came, but communion reminds us that He is also coming again. In this message we explore how the end of the story gives meaning to the whole journey, and how God forms in us a deeper longing for Christ’s return. We read from Revelation 22, reflect on Philippians 3, and then take communion from 1 Corinthians 11, where Paul says we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.
