We are looking forward to welcoming your child to Friday Kids Club and we ask that you work with us to follow the processes that we’ve designed with everyone’s safety in mind.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to run our club again, but appreciate that we need to adapt to these new circumstances.

Here are some guidelines and information that will help keep everyone safe.

 

• If this is your first time attending, please click here to follow a link to register your child before their first session. You will be taken to a secure area on our website and you will need the password myinfo in order to complete the form. You will be asked for your contact details first, then please click 'add child' and fill in all the information regarding your child including details of any health conditions and doctor's details.

• Please allow time for entry and registration

• If using the car park, please remember that no double parking is allowed, to give plenty of space as people wait to go inside the building and should an emergency vehicle be required at any time during the session.

• When you arrive at the church, you will see a table under the porch where a leader will be waiting to greet you and you’ll be able to pay by exact change or contactless card.

• Children will enter through the main entrance at the front of the church, 

• According to government regulations, people are now required to wear face masks for the duration of the session. Children under 11 don’t need to wear a mask. We understand that some people are exempt from needing to wear a mask due to physical or mental challenges. Leaders and volunteers will also be wearing face masks, except for when leading from up front.

• We will register your child in the foyer. We will be using a non-contact thermometer to check temperatures as one of the ways we are keeping everyone safe.

• We’ll take payment by exact change or contactless card.

• As you enter, please use the hand sanitiser mounted on the right hand side as you walk in - this is for everyone's safety and we ask all who enter the church to do this as a matter of routine. We’ll encourage the children to do the same.

• Your child/ren will be shown to the main hall and directed to their designated zone. They will be welcome to start playing straight away. We will have a combination of individual play and games and activities directed from the front.

• We will encourage your child to avoid touching items/surfaces other than what they’ll find in your zone, and helping them to observe social distancing.

• For your peace of mind, please know that all toys, equipment and mats will be sanitised between sessions, and anything that isn’t wipeable (for example, some craft materials) will be used once and then disposed of.

• We’ll be providing the children with their choice of a juice carton or bottled water. They are also welcome to bring their own named bottle of water instead.

• At the close of the session, we will direct the children to meet parents and carers in the front foyer area as they arrive, to ensure social distancing. They will be able to select their sweet treat to take home on the way out.
