Come together as families to hear about God's love, do crafts and activities, listen to a Bible story, and play (socially distanced) games!

 

We are excited to be opening a reimagined Messy Church again and can’t wait to welcome families into the building once more.

In line with government health guidelines, we have a safe maximum number of families able to attend. You will be able to sign your family up in advance by booking online on our events page. Please include each family member who will be coming in your booking. Bookings are open until 11pm on Thursday prior to the Messy Church Sunday.

 

Messy Church will run from 4:00 to 5:00 pm and will include socially distanced games, activities and crafts, Bible stories and input from upfront. Each family will have their own ‘zone’ in our main hall, with a wipeable mat and cushion, and individual craft equipment.

 

Please note that the Government ruling which prohibits gatherings of over 6 people effective on the 14th September 2020 does not affect activities run by the church in the building, because Chiltern is providing a COVID-secure environment.

Please also note we will be asking people over 11 to wear a face covering. If people have a legitimate medical reason not to wear one, we have the NHS exemption stickers - just let the welcome team know when you arrive.

Families will be able to choose from a selection of individually wrapped treats and bottled drinks to enjoy. You'll also be welcome to bring along your own hot beverage in a travel mug.

We are constantly keeping up to date with changing regulations, and will adapt Messy Church as needed in the future.

 

We continue to thank everyone for their generous donations towards Messy Church to cover our costs, For those who would like to, we will have contactless card facilities available, or exact change.
