Health Update

Important Chiltern Church Announcement

Updated 22nd July 2020

Dear Church Family,

Following the Government announcements we are now making plans to re-open the church building for activities and services, which has not been possible until now. Please check our Ministry Status page for information on whether specific activities are running. On 16th August we will be openining the church building to people who have booked to attend in advance - please click here go to our Events page for more details.

We would also like to say that while we recognise that the suspension of certain forms of ministry was important and necessary, the focus of this season has been on what we must stop doing, but rather on ‘what can we do’ for God, the church and the community in this time of crisis.

Although we have not been able to meet in the ways we normally would, we have, with God’s strength, forged forwards the ministry of the kingdom; seeking to bless the church and our community with God’s hope and peace.

We will continue be in regular communication over email, Facebook and on the website, as well as streaming all our major services on the Chiltern Church YouTube channel (see link below).

These online services can be accessed here.

During this time there are a number of ways for people to serve and bless the community - please contact us if you would like to receive more information on those.

Please know the leadership in the church is praying for the whole church at this time and would ask for your prayers as we seek God’s will for this unprecedented time.

We recommend that people make themselves aware of the latest government advice and guidance which in this changing situation is best seen online at the following address.

Please know we do hope to bring our gathered meetings back as soon as is safely possible and the team of trustees dedicated to overseeing this situation will continue to meet regularly to monitor the situation as it progresses.

If you have questions on the church's response, please feel free to be in touch with me (jason@chilternchurch.org.uk) or Bimpe (bimpeo@chilternchurch.org.uk).

Every blessing

Jason (on behalf of the team)
