BOOKING FAQS-TOTS IN BUBBLES

Below are the answers to some questions you may have about the group. You can also check out Before you arrive page for more information.

Q. How can I book for Tots in Bubbles?

A. Go to our events page and select the session you would like to book for.  A unique payment link will then be sent out to you by SMS (please email us at totsntoys@chilternchurch.org.uk if you prefer the link via email) and you will be able to use your debit or credit card to make a payment. Payment links will be sent out by midday on the day before. If you make a booking from the day before the session, we ask you to bring a contactless card with you so you can pay on the door in the morning of the session. 

Q. How much does it cost?

A. £3 per family. 

Q. Are there other payment options?

A. If booking online is difficult, please call us on 0777 319 7140 to discuss how we can help  in your situation.

Q. I can't attend the group and have to cancel my booking, will I get my money back?

A. Yes, if you cancel by 8am on the day of your booked session, you can either rebook for a future session free of charge or we can issue you a refund. You can do this either by using the 'cancel' button found at the bottom of your confirmation email or you can call 0777 3197140 if it is up to the day before and 0208 661 7042 on the day of your booking and leave us a message with your details and we will take it from there. If you can use the 'cancel' button it automatically updates the system and the space is released for someone else to book. We have a record of who cancels so we can track it for refunds.

Q. I have 2 children, can I bring both of them?

A. Yes, the maximum capacity for each family zone (each ticket) is 2 children and must have an adult within it.

Q. I have more than 2 children - can I still come?

A.If you have more than 2 children in a family or support bubble and more than 1 adult is attending, please use the 'add ticket' option.  Please note that each mat must have an adult present to comply with the safety rules within which we are allowed to open - so if there are 3 children of different ages coming from one family, another adult will have to book to be on the second mat. In this case we would ask you to pay for 2 mats due to resources that would have to be provided for the children. An exception is made for multiple births - please contact us either by phone or email so we can understand what is required.

Q Are there any pictures of how the hall will be laid out?

Q. I am worried that my child will not be able to stay within my family zone during the session!

A. We have designed the session to be engaging, with fun activities to occupy your little one and in our experience half an hour is a reasonable length of time to keep their attention. Having said that, all children are different and if your child feels happier letting off steam at a soft play session rather than sitting down with a puzzle or a book, they may find staying in one place challenging. If your child is at an exploratory walking stage, you may consider arriving not too long before the start of the session so there isn't much waiting time for them.  If at any time during the session your little one is finding it challenging to stay in their family zone, you are welcome to take them outside for a breath of fresh air. We have also seen the powerful effect that a little snack can have on the children's ability to stay on their mat - feel free to bring snacks for your little ones.

Q. Will you be providing snacks and drinks?

A. Due to current guidelines we can only serve drinks to adults to reduce risk of transmission. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks for your child.

Q. Can I attend without booking in advance?

A. We understand the need for flexibility at this time, so we are keeping bookings open until 9am on the day of the session. This way, if there are any cancellations, we can update availability quickly and you can book yourself on. We ask that you only attend if you have received confirmation that a space is available.

 

Q. There are no more tickets available – can I go on a waiting list? 

A. Bear in mind that there might be cancellations on the day, so check our booking page between 8 and 9am to see if any spaces have become available. You can also call us at the church on 0208 661 7042 between 9 and 9.30am to check if there are spaces that day. 

Q. Is there car parking available?

There is a car park outside the church, which should be sufficient for the maximum number of families for each session. If you have to park on the road, please bear in mind that parking restrictions operate on some of the roads nearby at different times.
