BOOKING FAQS - CHRISTMAS EVENTS
Q. Can I attend the service without booking in advance?
A. For everyone's safety, numbers are limited and if you would like to attend the service, booking in advance is required - please click here to check booking deadlines for various events.
Q. Do I have to wear a face covering?
A. As from 8 August the list of places where you will have to wear a face covering has been expanded to include places of worship. We would therefore ask you to wear an appropriate face covering when you enter the church. As per government guidelines, you do not need to wear a face covering if you have a legitimate reason not to. If this is the case, you may wish to download and print the Exemption from face covering badge.
For more information please see the government guidance pages.
Q. How many people does one ticket admit?
A. We have devised different types of seating arrangements, which are referred to as 'tickets'. Each ticket admits has different capacities - please check this carefully when booking. If you are coming as a family, please remember that you must give us all the names of those in your party, including infants and if you are planning to bring a buggy, you must indicate this when booking.
When booking to attend an event, scroll down to the end of the form to check availability for different ticket types, as it is a live system. If there is more than one person on your booking, please enter the additional names in the fields provided. A red * denotes a required field which needs to be filled in before you can confirm your booking.
Q. There are no tickets left – can I go on a waiting list?
A. We have reserved a number of tickets for individuals who do not have internet access - if they are not required, they will be released for general internet booking. We suggest you check the event booking page before the booking deadline, just in case additional tickets become available. You can go on a waiting list for an event by emailing email@example.com and we will contact you if a space becomes available.
Q. I have completed the booking form, but the Proceed button doesn’t seem to be working.
A. Please make sure that you have completed all fields with a red * next to them and that you have ticked the box next to our Data Protection Policy. The Proceed button will then turn a darker shade and you will be able to click on it.
Q. I have completed the booking form on the website, but have not received a confirmation email.
A. Please note that once you have entered your details on the booking form and clicked Proceed, you will then need to read through the next page that comes up to ensure your details are correct and click Confirm. The booking is not complete until that is done. Please check your spam folders for a confirmation email and if you haven't got it, please check your junk folders and if you still haven't got it, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to check.
Q. I can no longer attend the event I have booked for - do I need to let anyone know?
A. If you are certain you have to cancel your booking, we would really appreciate it if you could let us know either by email to email@example.com or by calling our office on 0208 661 7042. We can then release the ticket to those who are able to come.
Q. I have a question not covered here – who do I contact?
A. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond to you as soon as we can.
